For both young and old visitors who would like to learn more about the plants in the Botanic Garden, we offer guided tours on a range of topics. A guided tour takes about 90 minutes on average. The maximum number of participants per group size is 20. Larger groups can be divided and given one or more extra paralllel tours. The tours are usually in German but English is also possible on request.
Whether you are looking for a special activity for a company outing, to celebrate your birthday or an anniversary, a guided tour through the Botanic Garden is always something special.

Fees: On weekdays, a guided tour of 90 minutes costs 50,00 € for groups of up to 15 people or 70,00 € for groups of 16 to 20 people. On Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays a guided tour costs 75,00 € for groups of up to 15 people or 95,00 € for groups of 16 to 20 people.
Helping to instill a better understanding of the natural world and enthusiasm for plants in young people is very important to us. Therefore, we also offer guided tours for school classes from primary school to A-level. The subjects of the tours can be individually adapted in collaboration with teachers. Popular subjects for school tours include, for example, "Plant adaptations to different habitats", "Relationships between plants and animals" or "Rainforests".
Fees: For school classes we charge a reduced fee of 40 € per group (up to 20 pupils) or 50 € (21 to 30 pupils). Larger classes have to be split into separate groups and given parallel tours.
